Ryan Budd

Ryan graduated from UNC Wilmington with his B.F.A. in Creative Writing and his B.S. in Business Marketing. Throughout college Ryan worked as a content editor for Atlantis Magazine and was an Accounts Manager for All Ways Graphics, providing high quality printing and promotional items to businesses in southeast North Carolina. During his final year of college Ryan was named North Carolina’s Gilbert-Chappell Distinguished Student Poet and was asked to lead one of UNC Wilmington’s freshman seminars. After graduation Ryan joined Temporary Accommodations as a Housing Coordinator focused on working with displaced families in California and other western states. Stress management was always a skill Ryan was able to help others learn. During his first year at TA he was able to place hundreds of families into temporary housing receiving praise from both policyholders and adjuster for his relaxed temperate in stressful situations. While finding hundreds of families their perfect temporary house as a Housing Coordinator, Ryan also took on the responsibility of managing our company’s social media channels, and then began working closely with the Account Management Team on brand identity and messaging. In 2017 Ryan was promoted to Marketing Communications Specialist and took charge of TA’s digital advertising campaigns. As an extension of our Account Management Team, he designs promotional items, edits contract proposals, and collaborates on website improvements and employee training events. Ryan's experience in claim handling, finding temporary housing solutions for his clients, counseling disaster victims and their families, as well and maintaining relationships with landlords and property managers nationwide, gave him the ideal insight for someone that would share Temporary Accommodations' story. His professional goal is to share the amazing service Temporary Accommodations offers property adjusters and their policyholders with every home insurance carrier in America.
I am Inspired By:
My team. The employees I come to work with every day aren’t just here for the paycheck. Every one of them wants to actually make a difference in the lives of someone struggling, and that makes me want to work even harder.
When I am not Working:
I write. I read. I cook. I like to sit on my balcony and listen to my audiobooks while the sun sets over our city skyline. I grill a lot of seafood and learned how to bake the best pumpkin pie in the world from my Great Aunt Jane.
